Born in Peru, Marcela C. Rodríguez studied law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, obtaining her law degree and her law degree from that prestigious university. Her specialty was in Consumer Law, working successfully as a member of the User’s Management team of the Peruvian Telecommunications Regulatory Entity, OSIPTEL, for more than five years.

Marcela came to the United States on an F-1 student visa and completed a Master’s degree in Communications from Florida International University (FIU). After completing an Optional Practical Training (OPT) internship, his employer applied for an H-1B work visa. After a few years he applied for permanent residency. For each of these immigration legal processes Marcela sought help and advice from immigration lawyers, so she has experienced firsthand the long and complex immigration processes. Her experience as an immigrant in the United States is what led her to become interested in the area of Immigration Law. Work in the City of Miami Beach along with a group of excellent professionals.

Currently a licensed attorney in the State of New York and practicing exclusively in the area of Immigration and Naturalization Law. practicing exclusively in the area of Immigration and Naturalization Law.. Because these areas are governed by Federal Law, Marcela is able to represent clients with immigration and naturalization cases throughout the United States. Marcela is a member of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the American Bar Association (ABA).Marcela has experience in Family and Employment Based Petitions, Non-Immigrant Visas, Naturalization and Labor Certification Processes (PERM), as well as VAWA cases.
