Dora was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She is a lawyer graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from the Universidad de Lima.

Subsequently, he obtained a Master’s degree in Business Law at the same university, Universidad de Lima.

She began her pre-professional internship at the Peruvian State entity called “Contraloría General de la Republica”, later becoming a lawyer specialized in Human Resources at the National Office of Electoral Processes.

While working in that position, she had the opportunity to be part of the Administration Management team of another Peruvian State institution: “Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil – RENIEC” (National Registry of Identification and Civil Status), occupying the position of Management Lawyer, where she specialized in State Procurement and Contracting.

While she was making professional achievements, she also managed to consolidate her relationship with an American citizen, who after years of relationship, proposed to her. This is how Dora decided to migrate to the United States, in order to start a life with her husband.

After going through the entire immigration process (petition from U.S. citizen to wife), Dora obtained her permanent residency and moved to this country on May 25, 2018.

Once here, she knew that she had to continue working in order to achieve her next dream, to be a lawyer in the United States and that is how she started working at MARCELA C. RODRIGUEZ ESQ, where day by day she seeks to put into practice her legal knowledge, as well as to learn everything related to the wonderful world of migration, which allows her to help other people who, like her, want to fulfill a dream and have a happy life in this wonderful country, with the people they love.

Soon she hopes to become an American citizen and begin the process of petitioning her parents, who still live in Lima and long to be together soon.
