Born in the province of Matanzas, Communist Cuba, Roberto Emilio Rodríguez grew up in the heart of a political, just and democratic family. Roberto and his family received Political Asylum for the purpose of immigrating to this Great Nation of ours in the summer of 1980, and he was the first member of his family to become a U.S. Citizen.

Roberto received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Management, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management Administration in International Business from the Catholic University of St. Louis, Missouri. St. Thomas Catholic University, Miami, Florida. Roberto also diversified his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Economics from Florida International University, and an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Miami-Dade Community College. These programs have provided him with extensive knowledge in production issues, marketing studies and analysis, macro and micro economics, consumer behavior, statistical analysis, accounting and financial management, strategic management, business policies, and also many topics in international business, etc.
