After she graduated with a high-school diploma in the sciences she immediately entered the University where she began her law studies, which culminated in the year 2002 when she obtained her title as an Attorney at just 22 years of age.

As she advanced through her law studies she became more and more inclined with the criminal law area, she grew impassioned searching for Justice for the victims, she dreamed of “true rehabilitation” for victims, and she longed for a safe environment for citizens. This was how she entered the Criminal Justice System acquiring experience in the criminal field at the Criminal Judicial Circuit of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas, Palacio de Justicia de Caracas, Venezuela. She began working there when she was 20 years old as a Tribunal Assistant until she was promoted to the position of Office Secretary.

Then, suddenly, life offered her a different path with God’s blessing.

Susana’s husband was transferred to the United States as an executive for a multinational company under an L1 visa. She immigrated to the United States of America hoping for a more prosperous life, with new goals and many expectations. It was through her visa L2 that she was able to settle down with her husband in the United States. As years went by, they obtained their Legal Permanent Residence and the long-awaited dream to become a United States Citizen.

Once they were established in the United States and while they undertook their projects in this country, a latent desire to exercise the profession she is so proud to be a part of, continued. However, it was not until she completed certain stages, according to the will of God, that she was able to be a part of this great team of Marcela C. Rodríguez Esq., as the Legal Assistant of the Attorney, this time in the field of Immigration, a very humanitarian field that suited perfectly her search for Social Justice and solidarity for others.
